What should participants wear to our studio?

Students should wear closed-toe shoes and dress appropriately for a cooking environment. Socks are recommended and open-toed shoes, flip flops and Crocs are not allowed to be worn during class. Long hair must also be tied back. We will provide an apron to wear during the cooking class but feel free to have your child bring their own.

What are classes like?

All child only classes, Cooking Together classes and workshops are hands-on cooking activities.  Participants will prepare their own recipes and dishes. Other than “tasting” the food that has been prepared, all food will be packed up and sent home to share with your family and friends. Although we can provide take home containers, we prefer that you send a tupperware (or similar) type container with your child. We are very conscious of the impact of disposable containers on our environment and prefer that our students use something reusable.

Is food served at Birthday Parties?

Yes! All of the dishes that are prepared at Bakers Buzzin’ parties are served on the day of the party. Leftovers can be brought home by the host if desired.

Is Bakers Buzzin’ a nut free facility?

We are primarily a nut free facility. We have made the conscious decision to not cook with peanuts or tree nuts to help prevent against potentially life threatening allergic reactions to these ingredients. However, we cannot guarantee that other ingredients in our studio were not prepared in a facility containing peanuts or tree nuts. It is very important that you notify us of any nut allergy so that we can discuss any questions or concerns with you.

My child has other food allergies or other dietary restrictions, can you make substitutions?

Please notify us of any food alleges during event registration or when signing in your child. Recipes are available for review at the beginning of each class or event. If the recipe can accommodate a substitution or omission, we may be able to make a change for your child. If your child has dietary restrictions or certain food allergies, please check our website often since we use a wide variety of ingredients throughout the year and our recipes and themes change often. Contact us for more information and to discuss our food allergy policies.

Do you offer any Gluten Free Options?

Many of our classes are gluten free as we often work on fresh ingredients including fruits and vegetables. We have some classes on our schedule that use only gluten free ingredients and we occasionally make note of that in the class title and description. We do have a Gluten Free birthday party option so please contact us for more information on that as well. We may charge an additional fee for parties or other events and classes where gluten free ingredients are requested. This fee will vary based on the amount and type of gluten free products needed. Please contact us for additional details.

What is your Tax Identification number?

46-2181749

Is Bakers Buzzin’ ADA Compliant?

We have made numerous accommodations for customers of all abilities. Should you have any questions about our facility, please email us or give us a call at (803) 548-7979.

What is your Sick Policy?

For the health and safety of our students and staff, we ask that you not send your child to class if he/she has or had a fever or diarrhea in the past 24 hours, has an active cough and/or frequently needs to blow their nose.

What if I'm late picking up my child?

We ask that you please be prompt in picking up your child from all classes and activities at Bakers Buzzin'. We understand that emergencies can happen so please contact us immediately if you anticipate being late with your pickup. If you are more than 5 minutes late to pick up from the end of the class/event, you will then be charged $1.00 per minute payable at time of pickup. Thank you for understanding this important policy.

What is your Cancellation and Refund Policy?

Our cancellation and Refund policies vary based on the type of activity or event you have purchased or enrolled in. View and print our Cancellation and Refund Policy details.

What do I need to know about enrolling for classes and other events online?

When creating your account, please be sure to add all of your family members that will be participating in events and classes at Bakers Buzzin'. What is your Behavior and Disciplinary Policy?

Our Bakers Buzzin' instructors want to ensure that each child has a fun and rewarding cooking experience! My child does not meet the age requirement for an event. Can he/she still attend?

In some cases, children who do not meet the age requirement may be able to attend an event at Bakers Buzzin'. Some example deciding factors include whether or not a child has attended an event at Bakers Buzzin' before, if they are attending with an older sibling and their maturity level to execute the recipes and activities of the event. Please contact Bakers Buzzin' at (803)548-7979 to discuss this with a manager. Each request is considered on a case by case basis and any approval is at the discretion of a manager or owner.
